台南公園內最著名的景點─燕潭，百年來未曾清淤，水域因泥沙長久淤塞水深平均僅剩
0.5公尺，為有效改善滯洪功能，市府工務局擬自1月12日起，進行「台南公園燕潭活化及
水岸改善工程」。
